How to log baby diapers in one tap
To log a diaper, pick wet, dirty or mixed and save. The time stamps itself. After one day you know whether the baby is wetting enough and whether the gut is keeping up.

Diapers are a signal, not a chore
Diapers tell you two things: hydration and stool pattern. A newborn with too few wet diapers worries a pediatrician more than a slightly short nap. You need the count, not a feeling.
You see colour and texture in the moment. What you forget is how many there have been since last night. That is what the log keeps.
Three types, one tap
Wet, dirty, mixed. You do not need a form. In Wibou one tap is enough, even one-handed, even in a dark room.
If you change "just in case" and the diaper is almost dry, you can still log a light wet or skip it. The log is for the pattern, not perfection.
Read the 24-hour count
Pediatricians often talk in wet diapers per 24 hours. The timeline gives you that number without you reconstructing the day. Useful after a day out, when changes happened across three different bags.
The other parent sees the last change. That avoids two diapers in twenty minutes, or the opposite: a baby left too long.
At night one glance at the day is enough. You see whether the afternoon ran dry, whether stools spaced out, whether the rhythm moved after you were out. No need to rebuild the day from memory.
When the log is not enough
Blood, pale stools, a baby with no wet diaper: you call the doctor. The log helps you say "two stools since Tuesday". It does not make a diagnosis.
Questions
Should I log empty "just in case" changes?
Only if they happen often and you want the real rhythm. Otherwise log the diapers that were actually used. The pattern stays readable.
How do I recover a day out with no logging?
Add an approximate count in the evening, spread across the afternoon. Better than a blank day that skews the week.
